| Oregon—Where Past is Present features over 300 archaeological, geological, and Native American artifacts from the museum’s renowned collection, as well as reproductions of historical photographs and documents from libraries and archives throughout the Pacific Northwest. A series of exhibition spaces, including four detailed environmental dioramas, a hands-on science lab, a temporary exhibition gallery, and a small theater room, take the visitor through the story of Oregon’s geologic creation and the thousands of years of Oregon’s Native American cultural history.
