The Laird Legacy Wall uses rich stained wood, stainless steel signage and glass donor panels to create an enduring display honoring the donors to Marshfield Clinic’s Laird Center for Medical Research. The display also celebrates the distinguished career of Melvin Laird, former Secretary of Defense and long-term congressman for Wisconsin. Donor names are displayed over murals representing the changing seasons and flanked by plaques profiling the stories of major donors.
